Angel is a work at home mom and entrepreneur. With a background in HR and a passion for entrepreneurship, she has been able to establish Keishables — a brand inspired by her daughter, Keisha — as a go-to resource for ribbon supplies and ribbon-making workshops.

When Angel asked me to make her logo, she had plans to elevate her business into a passion project. I also got to work alongside Martine de Luna, who is Angel’s brand coach at that time.

“KEISHABLES is a passionate distributor of high quality ribbon, serving a wide variety of merchants in the home-based business and handmade industries. As a company, we are all about inspiring creativity for handmade and providing quality supplies for DIY- enthusiastic businesses. We are a one-stop shop for ribbons and hairbow making essentials that equips creative businesses and the supplier of choice in the hairbow industry because of the quality of our products and service.”

BRAND KEYWORDS: Happiness and Creativity

Angel and Martine wanted a simple but iconic logo. So we all agreed with a grosgrain ribbon or hairbow as the official icon for the brand. For earlier studies, we still played with various bright colors, which Angel preferred. Angel personally loved Coral Rose and Turquoise, with hints of Peach, Lemon and shades of Gray.

Eventually we toned down with just the Coral, Peach, and Lemon. But Angel still wanted the colorful ribbon as an alternative logo. We also worked on her business card design.
